We're Baaa-aaaaacckkk!!!!!!

OMG!!! So it's a brand new year here in, where else? Taft!

It's been so long. Christine and I stopped writing before the last semester ended, so it's been litterally like forever and a day since we have made and entry.

Holy crap...where to even begin!? So many things have happened since the last time we wrote...March...April was spring break...we all split our separate ways and went home and such for the week! That was a pretty fun week to get a break from Taft. We returned back to taft and hung out with everybody. My birthday weekend ASB was taking a trip to Disneyland and the Beach. That was such a fun weekend.

DUUUDDDEEE!!! Long story short, the end of the semester was bomb. Beach trips, sleepovers, satying up late.

Its pretty sad that we started being good friends with everyone at the very end, but its all good because we're back this year.

Summer was interesting, wasn't expecting to miss everyone as much as I did.

Since we have been back, we already had a beach trip, which was a success and plenty of more good times...we've just been to lazy to write....

WHOO DAT? Our crazy adventurous past weeks started on Sunday the 7th of Feb. the superbowl. Baylee and I had just got a t.v. the day before so we were ready for the superbowl. We watched the game and the New Orleans Saints beat the Colts. It was such a sick game! The guys had gotten back to the dorms so we decided we would go over there and play GAMES!!! like we always do. It was such a fun night. The usual people were there but a couple more. Michael Hayes, Nicole Gummersall, Stefan Norman. We started off by playing phase ten and then got to the fun game....dare. We had played a couple rounds so everybody knew how to play. One of the dares was you had to go into 7 eleven and ask for some "peanut butter cups". Michael Hayes lost so we were quite excited to hear him cuz he was the one that came up with the dare. The next dare was you had to chug a small slurpee. Fil lost that one. We decided to take the journey to 7 eleven and thats where all the fun started.....

Michael and Fil did their thing. When the dares were all done, we started to walk back up 6th street and stopped at the old abandoned store at the corner. Michael was feeling kinda "dare-ish" that night and acted like he was gonna try and break in, but I knew he didn't have it in him. Maybe his attitudde forshadowed the following event. The whole event was very long so we're gonna continue it on another blog..

But back to last week, we had such a blast. We continue to play dares and phase 10 twist almost every night but last week, Sunday, we started playing games. Curfew was at 1 that night because we didn't have school on Monday. One o' clock came around and we weren't ready to end the night. Fil and Jay walked back to the dorms but we were trying to think of ideas. We thought we should go to the beach!! Fil really wasn't feeling it at first but Jasmine's great persuasive abilities got him to take us to the beach. Me and Jasmine ran into the dorms yelling to Baylee (Baylee lost a dare where she had to stay in her room all day Monday, but since we were going we let her come). We all got ready for our spontaneous trip to the beach.

We were all pretty excited to go so none of us really slept on the way there. We left at two and got to the Santa Monica beach at 4 a.m. We parked way far away from the beach and took a journey to the beach. We got to the beach and started looking for seashells. Barrett and I started walking down the beach looking for seashells but found a boogy board instead. We walked back to the others and we all kinda just chilled on the beach until the sun rised. Me and Barrett got in the water a little. Some creepy guy started taking pictures of us, without us knowing, then put down a golf ball and hit it and walked off.

We all were kinda hungry so we walked back to the car and decided to go find Denny's. We got there at about 7 a.m. We ordered all our food and were just thinking how much better the beach was then dumb old TAFT. We finished eating and got back into the car and just.......sat there. I think most of us thought we would go back to the beach but we all fell asleep for about a hour in the parking lot of Denny's lol. It was sooo freaking hot. We all woke up and were sweating, well at least i was. After that power nap we were ready to go back to the beach. We took the long journey again and put all our stuff down and played a little frisbee.

We all started to get a little hot so we thought it would be a good idea to get into the water. It felt so nice. The beach had rocks in the water that killed so bad but its okay, it's the beach right.

Oh yea, don't forget that I almost got lost at sea twice. Everyone claims that they warned me when waves were coming, but whatev. No matter how I got hit by a wave, I continued to have fun. There was a point in time when Christine and Barret decided to tan and Baylee, Fil, and I decided to chill out in the hot sun. After everyone was done sun bathing or whatever, it was time to go.

In the car we had a little mishap-all the cinnimon bears spilled all over fils car. Christine had to hold them like a little baby all the way back. We also came across our new alias: The Wild Onez.

We drove all the way back, without stopping, and made it just in time for linner. I remeber that Barret was burnt, and we all looked tired and dirty. But on the bright side, the cafe served ice cream.

After 31-plus hoursof going without sleep we decided, "heck, lets play frisbee!" So immediately after linner, we all got ready to play frisbee. It was a lot of fun this time because we had a little more people playing. The usual Wild Onez were there, plus Stefine, Michelle, Nicole, Jose, Theresa, Rex, and Jay.

Good times. I scratched up my knee, which is still pussing to this day :p

After all of that, suprisingly...we went to bed.

The next day we had school...ugh :/ It was my short day but Jasmine's long day. I can't really remember what we did in the day except we had practice. One of the last one's. After that Barrett took me on a date to go see Valentine's Day. We drove to Bakersfield and went to Wal-mart before the movie. We got lost trying to find the movie theatre and went on the out skirts of Bakersfield. It stunk so bad. Probably the worst smell i've ever smelt. We found the movie theatre and liked the movie. We drove back to Taft and said goodnight.

Wendesday rolled around and we had a game today. Second to last game. We took our journey up to Merced. We all kinda had a good attitude that day and played our game. We were ahead at half but needed to come out harder to finish off the game. They came back closer to the end but we finished our free-throws to seal the deal. I made one of two at the end and we came out on top by three. I had bumped my elbow in the game and it looked like a had a golf-ball in my elbow. It hurt so bad. We returned to Taft.

We didn't have practice Thursday so i believe we played games that night. Friday came around and we went to school and had practice. Baylee's parents came and took her to bakersfield for the night. Barrett came over and we hung out. Jasmine pretty much stayed in her room. I slept alone in my room for the first time Friday night lol.

Saturday was our last game! And it was against COS. We wanted to "eff" number 22 up and we did just that. It was such a good game. Probably one of the best ones this season. We were ahead for pretty much the whole game and they got close but some clutch free throws from Desiree sealed the deal to go on a two game winning streak to end the season. It was such a fun season and I'm excited i was able to play. We had craft corner on Saturday night and started making a surprise for some of the baseball boys. I can't say it on here because it'll ruin the surprise.

We watched baseball on Friday, Saturday and Sunday...every game every minute for the whole game we were there. I guess you could say we are the baseball boys #1 fans.

And that sums up the wild week the Wild Onez had.

And that's what happened now and today.

ROUND TWO

Woah...we're back..

Where to start..I guess we'll start from our last post which was our tournament in Ukiah. We continued playing games and went to a couple more tournaments.

We headed back to our homes in Arizona and Utah to be with family for the Holidays..lets just say it was short. Twelve days..christmas was good, we got to see family and friends.

All in all, it was a good break from Taft, but I (Christine) was excited to get back to start playing basketball again. We headed to the Foothill tournament on the 28th of December and came back. Next was New Year's. Me, Baylee and Crystal stayed in the dorms for new years..Most boring new years ever. We played card games, watched the ball drop and headed to bed. Jasmine, Bri and Des headed to Bakersfield to coaches house.

Everybody started coming back slowly. We were the only people in the dorms which was nice. Baseball players started coming back. It was real boring for a while because we didn't have school. We played a few more games and started conference play. We played Fresno City and lost by two..we were ahead the whole game and let them back in it. We traveled to Porterville to play them and again were ahead the whole time, (up by 14 at one point) and let them come back. With 2.1 seconds left on the clock, coach set up a play to run to try and let a shot up. It was supposed to go to Jasmine or Theresa but Dawn passed it to me. All I heard was "Shoot it!" so thats exactly what I did. It bounced on the rim once and went it. We won the game by two points. It was pretty cool.

Since this is the second semester, I guess it's kind of like...a second round. Round 2. We're all about to just be real (grow up lol) and fire at anyone, and say whatever is on our mind, kinda haha.

We started school. A lot of classes are with familiar faces, so this semester shouldn't be so bad. The first week wasn't so bad becasue it was a 4 day week.

This week however has been eventful. Oh yes. It all started when coach anounced that practice was at 6:30...on Sunday.

Sunday the 24th came and it was kind of lonely. There were only 10 of us at the black line when practice began. Coach went on to tell us that those of us who couldn't make it to practice are done, or suspended. Problems didn't end there.

The very next day 2 more people left us, and were down to 9. What lonely pratice. Practice continued like that all week. It was rather depressing. On top of all that drama, we lost our game on Wednesday.

But it was Daniel's birthday and evryone was ready to go out. Of course some of us didn't go out. But before the party began, everyone decided to come and hang out in the T dorms. Wow, never tought I'd see the day.

And then something amazing happened. I (Jasmine) was chillin in the dorm, surfin the web, listening to music, when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it to find to guys standing all up in my face. One was Juan, yea whatever.. But the other was...omg, EYE CANDY. He came to my door. hahah. I was so gitty, but I didn't show it. We all just stood out in the hallway talking about nothing. Then when he wasn't looking I creeped hin soooo hard.

But anywho. So since we've been back we've been going to the Canadians room to have GAME NIGHT! We really do enjoy it. For Christmas, I got a handful of card games and such to play. Baylee also brought back catch phrase. That one is definately the best. We went over a week ago Friday and had such a great time. There were a lot of people that played...Tom, Braden, Austin, Jay, Barrett, Victoria, Bri, Jasmine, Fil and maybe a few others. We had such a fun time trying to describe words such as cupcake, Rosa Parks, Anne Frank, climbing a ladder, fencing and others. It was such a fun time. After that we played apples to apples and that was even more funny. That night was so much fun! We've been playing a lot lately and have gone over the words two or three times. It still is a challenge sometimes. Last night, we played two rounds of phase 10, one round of uno, and a little bit of catch phrase. There was one time, Barrett was describing website hits and his team couldn't get it so after the buzzer went off and he jumped to his feet yelling "My head is fuming right now, you don't even realize!" We all burst out into laughter. Me, Jasmine and Fil were on a team and me and jasmine kept getting side tracked and talked to eachother while Fil was describing his words. We could not stop laughing. He was trying to describe to us, "You pull a bunny outta a hat", and "Not a manicure, but a...." We just kept laughing through out the night. We returned to our dorms and went to bed so we could get up for 5:30 A.M. practice.

AND THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED NOW AND TODAY!

UKIAHHH!

So, we've just returned from our latest basketball tournament in Ukiah, California....approximately 6 1/2 hours away. What a drive we had. We started waking up at around 6:30 in the morning to get ready to go. We went and got a quick breakfast and we right on the road. That's pretty much it for the ride. People listened to their ipods and talked to eachother and slept...me and jasmine found it quite funny to take pictures of people sleeping. We got some great pictures.

We passed through, and even stopped in Oakland for a second! My hometown! We passed by several familiar places and streets. We saw Grand Lake Theater, the cranes over by 10th street, and passed lakeshore- the street that led to my grandma's house. We stopped in my dad's neighborhood and he was just minutes away...

We stopped for food and got Carl's Jr. Some lady saw that there were about 20 people in line so we're pretty sure she made up a lie and said that her daughter was in the hospital and if she could just butt all of us and get two sodas...what a liar! I didn't go in the restroom there but a lot of the girls went in and said it smelt like "death times 3!" as said by Jasmine Green. We got into Ukiah and the first thing we saw were two homeless guys hitchhiking. We saw a lot of them there, Baylee made a joke and said we should just let them come on our bus...coach gave her a really funny look. We got to the hotel and got our rooms keys. I was in a room with Dawnisha, Crystal, Desiree and myself a.k.a. CDCD. Jasmine was in room "204!" with Theresa, Olivia and Mer Mer. - Yea 204! We go Harrrd! The other rooms had Baylee, Ashley and Chino in one and Victoria, Bri, Yeni, Maryssa in the other. It was quite a party. We have great time. We settled in and people napped while I stayed up and watch t.v. before our game. We all got ready and started driving.....

It was dark outside so we couldn't see where we were going and apparently neither did our bus driver. It seemed like were driving forever trying to find the school. When we finnaly got into the parking lot we drove around for a bit trying to find the gym. I guess the driver couldn't see the curb because we sure did hit it hard.

Crazy old man.

He tried to make an excuse: "I'm ahh....." Then coach cut him off immediately with "...on the curb." And instead of backing up, he tried to drive even further on the sidewalk. Because of this incident, the time we were up there we were very cautious while walking on the sidewalk lol.

We got inside the gym and saw a couple of boo boo teams. Some of us thought they were high school. The game started and we were down. We didn't bring our 'A' game to the first half. At half time we could hear the other team celebrating their 3 poitn lead over us....big deal. We came out with fire the second half. Has some good plays and shots and came out on top. We beat them by nine.

After the game half of us went staright to Applebees while the other half went to Jack 'N the Box. CJproductions was in the group that went to Applebees, so we don't know what fun entailed elsewhere, nor do we care! lol

When we entered to be seated Dawn saw this kid and told him "We haven't seen dark meat in a long time!" He smiled. He was so happy and giddy. We nicknamed him 'Choc'. We really treated all the guys out there like pieces of meat...I mean c'mon, we have nothing but Taft guys and eye candy to look at. Mmmmn...there were also the boys from Redwoods. OH BOY!!! :) We got dinner and eye candy that night. We sang happy birthday to the cutest eye candy. His name was Dom. Our waitress..oh Christine's bad, our waitor was...interesting.

We got our fill, and we had to walk back to the hotel, how messed up right?

We walked up stairs and ran into these guys from Lassen. They were kinda weird. We searched and searched for the bus driver so we could get our bags off of the bus. During that time we met an Aussie, witnessed a nearly phyiscal altercation between two of the other girl teams, and ran into the Lassen kids sevral times. We introduced ourselves to them with fake aliases. My name was Rebecka. Christine was just Christine...she didn't want to play, lol.

We had cerfew at 11, so we all turned in at 11.

In 204 we watched tv untill we fell asleep. Mer mer had the remote and fell asleep will holding it. She was snoring real loud and then all of a sudden woke up and started changing channels. Then fell back asleep. Me and Theresa just looked at each other.

Meanwhile in 201...they just went to sleep.

The next day we got up and went down to breakfast as a team...finally! We were all just conversing with eachother about who said what in their sleep and who was snoring. We had a meeting in the coaches room. We got our money for the day and all went back into our rooms. Oh yes, there was a WAL-MART in Ukiah so we took many trips over there. We all got ready for the day which was going to consist of watching basketball and more basketball. Our bus driver was kinda getting annoying giving us a play-by-play of what he was going to do...we don't care.

We got to the gym and the bus driver wanted to drive into the DO NOT ENTER! part. We all hurried out of the bus because we didn't want to get embarrassed by him. We walked into the gym and watch Lassen and Mendo play. Mendo was getting killed. We just wanted to watch "some dunks, some blocks, and some steals." (Jasmine) The boys teams started warming up and they didn't look too good. They didn't play good either.(Jessica just walked into my room as I'm typing this blog). We wanted to leave sooo bad and so we went to 7huyhupkottujijnim Denny's and again had a weird waitress. Jasmine had breakfast and I had zesty nachos.

After Denny's we went back to the hotel and we all napped while Christine sat out and watched the construction next door. Woke up around 6 and left for the gym. We arrived and the Woods were playing in the championship game. So nice! There was this big guy, very BIG! He was 6'9 and looked like he could've been 300 lbs. He was good and so was eye candy Dom. However, they lost and we never saw the Woods ever again.

Our game started early. We lost that game but should've won. End of story. Christine is being mean...soooo mean. It's hurting Jess's feelings. She just hopped onto her bunk and gave Jess the dirtiest look ever. How ruuudddeee!! Jess is quite bummed now and is exiting the room.

We got back to the hotel and Christine, Des, and I walked over to Jack "N the box. We ate the food in 201. And then Theresa and Olivia wanted me to go to Wal-Mart with them. We got back and went to sleep.

The next day was checkout day. We had breakfast in the lobby again. It was pretty chill. We packed the rest of our stuff and piled into the bus, but not before a couple quick rounds of dare and bed jumping. We were the first game that day. We sucked some more, but held on. In the second half a bat was flying around the gym. The game was stopped for a bit and everyone was going crazy. It was pretty fun actually.

We ended up winning, duh! So that put us in third place. We could've killed in this tourney but just didn't put in enough work. We got on the bus and headed off for.....Taft.

We stopped for dinner at In N Out and it was bomb..we got hats and took a couple pictures. We got on the bus and me and Jasmine had a little dance party on the bus. The bus driver was crazy and ran threw a stop sign. We got back to Taft safely and were wide awake. We came into the T Dorms yelling "wake up T Dorms" a couple people got mad. Me Jas Victoria and Des walked over to 7 11 and we came back and chilled until we went to sleep.

and that's what happened now and TODAY!!

Corn Dogs and Eye Candy

HelllloooOOOOOOOOO!!! We're are back.

Back again!

So you may have noticed that we haven't been on for weeks. Sorry about that.

A lot has happened. We started playing basketball, for real.

Our very first game was in the Pasadena tournament. We played some team called Cypress..not even all that great. But we got smashed. It was just the first game jitters and our first game together. But we ended up losing the second game too, by ten points.

We had our first home game earlier this week. We smashed Allan Hancock. Then LA Southwest came and thought they were the business, which they weren't...they won :(

Our last game for this week was against San Diego City and that's when we realized that, although we are a fresh team, we could do big things this season.

We have our next tournament this weekend in Ukiah...wherever the heck that is. It's about a six hours away. We are all excited to get outta Taft and stay in a HOTEL!!!!!

The TIL's don't freak us out anymore.....

Today I went to breakfast with Victoria, Des, Olivia, and Michelle. We ended up smuggling the whole cafeteria back to the T Dorms. We plan on making smoothies later.

Christine and Baylee got back from church and everyone went into homework mode.

Then we went to Linner. We had corndogs. And I got a side of Eye Candy..Mhmmmnm

Tonight the six pack went out for pizza. We got a little dressed, nothing too fancy.































The night ended with multiple games of dare.
